THE KITCHEN...….
The Mixing Bowl is a purpose built commercial kitchen based on the farm on which I grew up in Orford, Suffolk.
Over the last 10 years I have had regular routine inspections from Environmental Health, for which I have worked hard to get and maintain a level 5 for the cleanliness of the kitchen from day one.
I have also had regular routine inspections from Trading Standards who are confident in all the labelling and authenticity of all my products.

My name is Michelle, I own, run and manage the The Mixing Bowl, with the help and support of my family and staff.
I spent 3 years training as a chef and have worked in both pubs and resturants both front of house and behind the scenes in the kitchen for many years- it was here that I decided to follow my passion for all things sweet and started up my own business at 21 years old. 10 years on I have expanded my kitchen, products and number of employees.
